We booked The Riverside as a venue for a very special surprise 60th birthday party. From start to finish Jo and her team couldn’t have been more amazing – I felt completely at ease, and nothing was too much trouble. I knew I was in capable hands, which took huge amounts of party-planning stress away! Most importantly, the wonderful team helped us to pull off a perfect, fun-filled evening. The beautiful backdrop made it even more special, and the buffet food was the best we’ve had! Some of our guests stayed for multiple nights; they thoroughly enjoyed their stay(s) in every way. We’ll definitely be back and I would 100% recommend as a venue for events. Special thank you to Jo and the rest of the team at The Riverside!

I just wanted to write to congratulate The Riverside for the such a lovely experience we had in the Garden Room and on the terrace this week. The surroundings and also the service we received were second to none and it certainly helped us get through what was a sad but uplifting celebration of my sister’s life.

Nothing was too much for Jo. She went above and beyond and was a delight to deal with. The Riverside should be proud to have her on the team! She went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect for such an important event and it was just that. Jo even managed to lay on a beautiful sunny day for us too!
